Welcome to Stars Hollow where everyone knows everyone and their business. As the title suggests Gilmore Girls focuses on Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), mother and daughter duo.Rory has just been accepted into the prestigious Chilton Prep and looks to be well on her way to achieving her goal of attending Harvard. Lorelai is the manager of the Independence Inn and is extremely proud of her daughter.
Gilmore Girls is popular for various reasons such as excellent storylines for both older and younger generations. It is more than just watching teenager angst, there is the interaction between the locals and the Gilmores.
